    The election resulted in a decisive victory for Christine Fr\u00e9chette, who secured 57.9% of the vote. As the CAQ is presently the governing party, Ms. Fr\u00e9chette now becomes Prime Minister of Quebec. It was the party’s first ever leadership race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
